Israeli Air Force Launches Retaliatory Attack In Gaza Strip

Israel's air force attacked the southern Gaza town of Khan Yunes, security officials said. There were no reports of casualties immediately after the attack. The raid targeted a cultural center of the Palestinians' ruling Fatah movement, Palestinian security forces said. Israeli military officials said the attack was launched on a terrorist center. The attack came as Palestinian militants briefly kidnapped an Italian peace activist and detonated explosives at the UN's beachfront social club.
