White Sox Advance To World Series. First Time In 46 Years

Joe Crede homered to tie the game in the seventh inning and drove in the winning run with a single in the eighth following a huge error by Kelvim Escobar, as the Chicago White Sox clinched their first World Series berth in 46 years with a 6-3 victory over the LA ...Angels ...of...Anaheim. Jose Contreras became the fourth straight Chicago pitcher to throw a complete game, as the White Sox polished off the Angels in five games in the American League Championship Series.
